OFFICE & VOLUNTEER SAFETY RESPONSE

(Update 2/26/2022)- Masks are now optional while visiting Note in the Pocket’s Volunteer & Donation Center. We respect and encourage the continuation of masks for any visitors, volunteers, and staff if you feel your health may be impacted.

The safety of our staff and stakeholders is of our utmost concern.  This plan is designed to balance best practices during a health crisis and move our mission forward so that we can continue to fulfill our mission to clothe children with dignity and love.

The following steps will be taken and reassessed weekly.  

  • Everyone who enters Note must wear a mask that covers both his/her nose and mouth. 
  • A daily cleaning and disinfecting of all surfaces will continue as usual. 

If exposed, potentially exposed, or infected with Covid-19, Note in the Pocket will use the current CDC Guidelines (effective 12.29.21) as Listed below to determine when a Staff member or Volunteer can return to work:

If You Test Positive for COVID-19: (Isolate) Everyone, regardless of vaccination status will be required to:

  • Stay home for 5 days.
  • If you have no symptoms or your symptoms are resolving after 5 days, you can leave your house.
  • Continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.

If you have a fever, continue to stay home until your fever resolves.

If You Were Exposed to Someone with COVID-19 (Quarantine)

  1. If you have been boosted OR Completed the primary series of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine within the last 6 months OR completed the primary series of J&J vaccine within the last 2 months:
  • Wear a mask around others for 10 days.
  • Test on day 5, if possible.

If you develop symptoms, please get a test and stay home.

  1. If you completed the primary series of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine over 6 months ago and are not boosted OR Completed the primary series of J&J over 2 months ago and are not boosted OR are unvaccinated:
  • Stay home for 5 days. After that continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.
  • If you can’t quarantine you must wear a mask for 10 days.
  • Test on day 5 if possible.

If you develop symptoms, please get a test and stay home.
