Spectrum News: Children’s clothing nonprofit receives record-breaking requests

Spectrum News visited Note in the Pocket to see how the organization has been successful in clothing over 8,000 children and families in Wake County. Note depends on donations throughout the year to keep their shelves stocked in their 29,000 square foot building to reach the goal of clothing 10,000 individuals in 2023.

Having enough inventory did not used to be a problem for the organization and donations are continuing to grow, but the need for children’s clothes is at an all-time high. The growing number of requests is not slowing down, causing an increase in the need for quality boys and girls clothing donations.

When people are clothed with quality clothing they are able to achieve and are empowered to be successful.
