Donations
We partner with school social workers and local agencies that work with families in financial crisis to identify students in need of clothing assistance. Visit Our Mission page to learn more.
New and gently used shoes and clothing of all sizes are accepted for donation, but the items most useful to our students are school appropriate clothing items in size 5T through adult.

Yes! While we are happy to issue receipts for tax purposes, we cannot assign a monetary value to your clothing donations. The IRS advises that it is up to the donor to estimate the fair market value of a donation. Email us at info@noteinthepocket.org for more information.
At this time, we are unable to pick up clothing donations. They will need to be brought to one of the drop off locations.
Volunteering
Children aged 13-15 may volunteer at Note in the Pocket when accompanied 1:1 by an adult. Children age 16 may volunteer unaccompanied. Families with younger children can also host a clothing drive.
Yes! Drivers must be at least 21 years of age.
Yes. Please note that requests for Community Service letters must be approved in advance. NITP provides letters for documented traffic violations only (no DUI violations).
