Plan your drive today.
When you host a drive, you help Note in the Pocket to clothe even more families who are living in poverty. Providing them with the essential clothing items they desperately need. Hosting a drive is as easy as refreshing your wardrobe and collecting items you no longer wear or need — and asking your friends, family, neighbors, classmates or coworkers to the do the same. Here’s a few ways you can host a successful drive for the communities in your region.
- Host a neighborhood clothing drive
- Collect clothing items at your birthday or holiday party
- Host a collection through your school
- Host a collection through your scouts or sports team
- Team up with your faith community

Fun and easy ways to get started!
- If your children are involved in Scout troops, youth groups, or other clubs, consider a Kids Clothing Kids theme.
- Holidays, particularly Christmas are good times to hold drives. Consider a theme we’ve used called Holiday Pocket Tree
- Months are also a great time to collect clothes for larger groups. Ideas include “Soctober” for collecting socks and shoes and “Jeanuary” to collect jeans/pants.
