Due to COVID-19, Note in the Pocket is closed until further notice. But the need to clothe our kids in confidence remains. We are bringing our 5K Rundie Online.

Join This Year’s Virtual Race Here!

We provide clothing to impoverished and homeless schoolchildren in Wake County with dignity and love. We believe that it is unacceptable for children to be limited in their educational and social development because they do not have appropriate clothes for school.

April 24 – April 26, 2020

Virtual Socks & Undie 5K Rundie

Due to the COVID-19 health risk, we are transitioning to a Virtual Event.

Our annual Socks & Undie 5k Rundie is Note in the Pocket’s biggest fundraiser of the year and we are $35,000 short of our goal! These funds are needed to clothe Wake County children in need with dignity and love. Though our event is virtual, the need is real!

How does the Virtual Race work?

Our Virtual Rundie will work very similar to our in-person race- except it can be completed anywhere. To sign up for the virtual race, click the link below. Then anytime between Friday, April 24- Sunday, April 26 complete a 5K. You can run or walk around your neighborhood, use your treadmill, however you want to move. After the virtual race, runners post their times online and will receive their finishers certificate.

If you are able, please help us reach our goal by registering for the Virtual Race and inviting your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers to join you. Click the button below to register for the Virtual 5k or make a donation and then share it every which way (social media, email, from a socially acceptable distance!)
