Community Board
What is the Community Board?
Individuals within the twelve municipalities of Wake County and across Durham serving as Ambassadors for Note in the Pocket supporting 4 Structural Pillars:
- Community Awareness and Inclusion
- Volunteering
- Fundraising
- Clothing Drives
Impactful but Flexible:
Community Board Members will select 1-2 objectives that they are passionate about and will commit to deliver one task a month to support the goals and mission of Note in the Pocket.
Time Commitment:
- One meeting per month with the Community Board Manager (virtual/in person once a quarter) to provide updates, feedback, and needs.
- Actively recruit and support your desired Pillar or requested initiative, but no stress on when and how often (we hope this will organically be a part of your daily interactions).
- Take the time to familiarize yourself with the resources provided to ensure a unified message.
